About the Designer
Known as ‘The Kings of Cotton’ Horrockses’ print dresses were a fashion success story in the period after the Second World War. Worn by royalty, the off the peg dresses were considered to be highly prized possessions.
Their success was due to the high quality cotton as well as the design which was often commissioned by artists including Matisse and Henri Moore. Their garments are one of the most sought after vintage labels of the present day.
